The Prodigy MSc Projects Programme is a platform to match students with practical workplace projects. To help them gain knowledge and experience and to help them successfully complete their studies. These placements are not paid employment or consultancy roles. We offer this to universities as a service in addition to the work they do on behalf of their students. We do not ask universities to sign exclusivity agreements with us and unlike recruitment companies will not ask for a percentage of starting salary if successful projects result in employment offers. This is a free service.
KEY BENEFITS
Universities
Universities are under pressure to find enough of the right kind of workplace project to meet both course criteria and student expectations. With the practical projects often making-up over one third of the degree programme, course leaders are often distracted from teaching duties until enough projects have been sourced. Prodigy will support your efforts and will help to take the pressure off.
Companies
Offering project placements is an excellent way of attracting new talent in a niche area, particularly when the best talent is highly sought after. The key benefit of sourcing new talent through Prodigy is that we will not ask you to sign a contract forcing you to hand over a percentage of stating salary if a job offer is made. Instead you can invest that money in training and developing your new hire.
Students
The project placement you accept as part of your degree programme is perhaps one of the most important decisions you will make. You need to find the right company to enable you to complete your course, but more importantly, the right company to provide you with the experience you need to start your career. Find the perfect match and the placement may lead to a job offer when you graduate.
