To become a member of the Data Science Foundation, select a membership type on the form and add your contact details. The membership types are Individual, Organisational for companies, organisations and public bodies or University for course leaders and university administrators. You will be sent an email containing a link to activate your account. Membership fees for Individual and Organisational membership are paid monthly by direct debit. We also offer a free membership option to individuals and organisations, which can be upgraded to full membership. University membership is always free of charge. Membership fees, which are used to fund the services we provide to you and to fund our work dedicated to improving decision making, are shown on the Membership Fees page.
Which type of membership to choose?
INDIVIDUAL: Data scientists, computer programmers, mathematicians, statisticians, related disciplines, students studying for a relevant qualification, people working with data scientists and data science agencies, those interested in learning more about data science
ORGANISATIONAL: Companies, organisations and public bodies using data science to generate insight, suppliers of data, AI and related data science services
UNIVERSITY: Data science and related course leaders or university representatives only. This membership type is not for students

Organisations and individuals who became full active members of data science Foundation prior to 28th February 2018 will be known as 'Founder Members' and will be given special status within the organisation. We are pleased to have 150 Founder Members.
