Pivigo facilitates and supports postgraduates’ transition from academia into data science and data engineering through our Science to Data Science (S2DS) bootcamp. By empowering participants with the commercial experience needed to get a job in data science and data engineering, we give our alumni the edge on the competition.
During the five-week programme, you will apply and develop your technical skills through working on a real commercial data science project, network with other programme participants and industry professionals, and gain vital commercial, teamwork and business communication skills.
At the end of the programme, you will join our growing network of alumni, over 700 strong, from whom you can seek advice and help throughout your career. Also, the Pivigo team is also there to provide information and support as your data science or data engineering career develops. Our graduates have gone on to work for household names and the hottest start-ups alike, including AstraZeneca, Royal Mail, Google, Facebook, IRIS.AI and many more.
For the data science track, if you hold an MSc or PhD, have intermediate programming experience, ideally in Python or R and come from an analytical background you are eligible to apply. For the data engineering track you will ideally have 2+ years of experience with Python/Java/C/C++ and demonstrable experience with databases and Cloud providers.
Applications for our March 2021 programme are now open at www.s2ds.org. Applications close 23rd December 2020. For those accepted on to the programme, a registration fee of £800 applies with scholarships available upon request.
