The Data Science Foundation is a professional body representing the interests of people working within the data science and advanced analytics sector. Its membership consists of accredited suppliers who offer a range of analytical and technical services and companies and individuals with an interest in the commercial advantages gained from big data. The foundation aims to raise the profile of data science in the UK, to educate people about the benefits of knowledge-based decision making and to encourage firms to make optimal use of their data.

The Data Science Foundation is committed to its role in improving relations between the government and the data science industry. We work to provide ministers, members of parliament and committees with the information they require about the data science industry to keep them informed and to assist them in their work supporting British businesses and their constituencies.
